"The Copenhagen Consensus Center analyzes the world's greatest challenges and identifies cost efficient solutions to meeting these challenges. The Center works with multilateral organizations, governments and other entities concerned with mitigating the consequences of the challenges which the world is facing."
The point of the Copenhagen Consensus is to work out what will give the world the best bang-for-buck in terms of solving the worlds biggest problems. The results are quite interesting and provide a good guideline of where we should be spending our development budgets. I know this has influenced where I direct some of my giving.
